Our Story of
Sisterhood & Faith

The Uplifting Sisterhood began as a small halaqa, a simple gathering of sisters seeking knowledge and connection. To our surprise, more and more sisters joined, and soon we realized the potential to create something bigger. Officially established on February 1st, 2024, our first halaqa took place, on February 12th, 2024. In under a year, we have connected 600+ sisters, hosted ongoing faith-centered series, charity initiatives, Quranic events, collaboration, bringing sisters together for reflection, learning, and shared experiences rooted in Islam. Today, The Uplifting Sisterhood continues to build welcoming, intentional, and safe spaces where Muslim women can meet, learn, heal, and grow together for the sake of Allah.
